Miss Patricia Ann Cleveland, lovingly known as “MeMommy” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, early Saturday morning, July 19, 2025, at the age of 84.
She was born Aug. 19, 1940, in Gadsden. Patricia was a graduate of Hueytown High School and a member of Lester Memorial Methodist Church in Oneonta. In earlier years, she enjoyed camping, fishing, waterskiing, playing the piano, and playing softball. A truly social spirit, she loved spending time with her many friends and cherished family.
She will be remembered as a beautiful, sweet, kind, and loving person — fun-loving and a joy to be around. These qualities kept her surrounded by love and laughter throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ruby Jay Green, and her former husband, Jack Cleveland Sr.
She is survived by her son, Jack Cleveland Jr. (Sonya) and her daughter, Jill Larson (Kevin); four grandchildren: Brent Cleveland (Kristen), Taylor Baum (Mark), Leah Collins (Drew), and Scott Ratliff (Chasity); eight beautiful great-grandchildren: Brent and Kristen’s Molly Belle, Lukas, Julietta, and Benjamin, Mark and Taylor’s Whit and Iris, and Scott and Chasity’s Jaden and Harmony; and one sibling, her beloved brother, Kip Green (Sondra).
Visitation is today. Wednesday, July 23, from 1-2 p.m. at Lemley Funeral Home. Services follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Joe Hastings. Interment will be at Blount Memory Gardens. Asked to serve as pallbearers are Scott Ratliff, Brent Cleveland, Mark Baum, Drew Collins, Justin Larson, and Alan Miller.
