Broyce Eddie Wester

Broyce Eddie Wester, 78, Straight Mountain, died April 30, 2025, at the residence. Born Nov. 9, 1946, at his parents’ home in Oneonta, he was an industrial and residential bricklayer who retired from Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 8 Southeast. Preceding him in death were parents James Wester and Mozell Stisher Wester.

Surviving are wife of 55 years Brenda Williamson Wester; children Melanie (Mark) Skillman, Brent (Ellen) Wester, and Mindy (David) Egan; grandsons Talmadge and Harrison Skillman, Maxwell and David Wester, Logan Wester, and Glendon Egan; siblings Larry (Sharon) Wester, Danny Wester, Jamie Yaw, Genna Aycock, and Brenda (Edward) Smith; and a host of other family and friends.

The family has chosen to honor Broyce’s wishes to be cremated and have no formal services. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. He would be honored to have a donation to your charity of choice in his name. His favorite was Big Oak Ranch.
