Christmas Open House

OBA celebrates this Saturday

Before you go stampeding through the mall and waiting in endless lines at chain stores, maybe you should check out downtown Oneonta. That perfect gift you are looking for might be there, and the Oneonta Business Association (OBA) is hosting a Christmas Open House to offer you the chance to find out.

This Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., the Christmas Open House will include at least 15 downtown businesses.

“Most stores will be offering specials during the open house and will also be serving holiday snacks and cider,” said OBA president Sherry Pierce.

During the shopping trip, stop by The Barber Shop of Oneonta, located at 105 Third Street, and get a picture taken with Santa – $10 for a child and $30 for the family.

Additionally, at noon, the winners of the OBA’s Holiday Decorating Contest will be announced at The Barber Shop.
