April is National Occupational Therapy Month

Oneonta Mayor Darryl Ray displays the proclamation naming April National Occupational Therapy Month. With him at the signing April 16 were (left) Joan Thomas, occupational therapist, and Jennifer Maynor, certified occupational therapy assistant, from Golden Living Center, Oneonta. Occupational therapy helps patients regain functions of daily routine after a surgery or illness and provides adaptations and equipment that improve the quality of life.
