Troy honors

Maggie Doss and Clifton Sloan of Hayden, Raven Eller of Blountsville, and Matthew Jacobs and Eliya Knight of Oneonta were named to the Troy University Chancellor’s List for the Spring Semester and Term 4 of the 2019/2020 academic year. To be eligible, students must earn a 4.0 GPA and be registered for at least 12 semester hours.

Snead Police Department was recently awarded the Edward Byrne Local Law Enforcement Assistance Grant in the amount of $23,490. The annual need-based grant helps small agencies obtain necessary equipment as they protect and serve the community.
