Arrests made in counterfeit money scheme



Oneonta police investigator Jimmy Baldwin reports two arrests have been made in connection to counterfeit $100 bills that were recently passed to several local businesses. A male and female were charged and are being held in the Blount County Correctional Facility. The case remains under investigation. Summer time = improve skills time



A gym is a great place to spend the summer…at least for some kids. As many as 80 kids took part in a summer basketball camp sponsored by Oneonta Parks and Recreation at the Oneonta Rec Center earlier this month. Boys and girls worked on basic fundamentals of the game, taught by instructors led by Oneonta Councilman Nate Butler.
