Corpus Christi honors first responders



Corpus Christi Catholic Church of Oneonta held a Sacred Mass on Sept. 23 presided by Father James Hedderman for all of Blount County’s first responders on Sept. 23. Lunch, provided by Our Lady of Victory Guild, Knights of Columbus and the Hispanic Prayer group of Corpus Christi was served in the Parish Hall following the Mass. -Jamishae Woodard

Snead utilities would like all radio-read meters



Snead utilities department head Jeff Whited expressed his preference for the purchase and installation of additional radio-read water meters before winter.
