Rotary Scholarship



Audra Wall, valedictorian of the Susan Moore High School class of 2014, received the Kurt K. Larsen “Service above self” scholarship, given by the Oneonta Rotary Club. She was among 34 applicants from across the area. Audra plans to major in pre-med at the University of Alabama – Huntsville.

JSU Ambassadors



Marilyn Cheney, Mallorie Phillips, and Phillip Treutel of Oneonta and Blake Wilson of Remlap (pictured clockwise from top left) were chosen as Jacksonville State University 2014-15 Ambassadors. All graduates of Oneonta High School, they are among the 20 JSU Ambassadors chosen from the university’s highest performing students to serve as official representatives of JSU.

Davidson



Jodi Leigh Davidson of Hayden has accepted membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, an interdisciplinary honors organization for firstand second-year college students. Membership is by invitation only and based on grade-point average and class standing. Jodi is employed with Judge John Dobson and Daryl Wheeler with community corrections and drug court.

Posey



Annalee Posey, daughter of Robert and Jayne Posey, was awarded the Blount County Beta Delta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International scholarship. Annalee was a 2014 graduate of Oneonta High School. She plans to attend Jacksonville State University and major in elementary education.
