The Amaryllis Garden Club is sponsoring the Mitten Tree at the Oneonta Public Library. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 12, when the donated items will be given to the Blount County Children’s Center and Hope House. Items requested are children’s books, mittens/ gloves, caps, sweaters, jackets, pajamas, and other warm clothing.
