Dollar General robbed last week



The Blount County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Dollar General on Ala 79 between Locust Fork and County Line. The incident happened at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, according to Investigator Chad Long. On Tuesday, authorities did have a suspect, but the name of that suspect was not released to the media.
