Storms change schedule for spring sports

Last week’s tornado outbreak resulted in the postponement of playoff action for several spring sports. Baseball’s second round was postponed from Friday and Saturday last week to Monday and Tuesday of this week. The Oneonta High School golf team captured the 4A Section 2 Tournament at Limestone Springs and then shot a 300 and edged out UMS-Wright in a playoff to win the South 2 Sub-State Tournament at Sylacauga Country Club.
