BLOUNT COUNTY EMMAUS CLUSTER will meet Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Turning Point United Methodist Church in Locust Fork. Potluck supper at 6:30 p.m., meeting begins at 7 p.m.

BLOUNT COUNTY FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE presents The Perrys and Surrendered, gospel singing groups, on Saturday, March 4, at 6 p.m., at Oneonta High School. Tickets are $12 advance, $15 at the door and may be purchased at the Oneonta Police Department or phone 994-0988 or 237-7795. Proceeds benefit the Blount County Association of Fraternal Order of Police.

SERVICES/SUPPORT GROUPS

CALVARY EPISCOPAL CHURCH has begun a beans and rice food ministry the fourth Sunday of each month, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Dry beans and rice will be given away on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

BLOUNTSVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH has the Wonderful Wednesday program for kindergarten through sixth grade with a light meal followed by Bible studies and activities until 7:30 p.m. No Wonderful Wednesday when school is out.

Older youth (grades 7-12) are invited for After School Hang Out on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and a light meal at 6 p.m.

The youth meets each Sunday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

CLEVELAND CROSS HALO COWBOY CHURCH invites worshippers to come as they are to Sunday services at 9 a.m. Arrive early to enjoy a pancake breakfast. The church is located on Ala 160, just past the Ala 79 intersection. Phone pastor Tim Corson at 910-7296 for more information.

THE CHURCH AT ONEONTA hosts a weekly GriefShare Group on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The support group is open to those grieving the death of a loved one. FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST ASSOCIATION Baptist Center Thrift Store is located at 7730 Ala 160 in Hayden, at the corner of Wallstown Road. Donations of household goods and gently-used clothing are accepted.
