Locust Fork’s Brandee Busenlehner (pictured with parents Alina and Jeff and Wallace State coach Ron Burdette) signed a scholarship with Wallace State Community College in Hanceville. A 5’6 guard, Busenlehner finished her Locust Fork career as the school’s fourth-leading scorer with 1533 points. She averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds per game as a senior. She was an al-county selection for four years, all area for three years, and was area MVP as a junior. A member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and FFA, she is the granddaughter of Larry and Brenda Busenlehner of Cleveland and Jimmy and Aline Bishop of Moody.
