To Cleveland citizens
      I feel that I owe you an explanation of why I have not attended any town council meetings since Mr. Longshore resigned as mayor. The reasons have to do with the fact that too much time was being spent on personal vendettas against past and present town employees. Some of the procedures and executive sessions were not being handled in a way that was legal and moral, in my opinion.

Bill would assist pet owners
      I would like to inform pet lovers and those annoyed by other people’s pets of the H.R. 3501, the Humanity and Pets Partnered through the Years (HAPPY) Act which was introduced by Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) on July 31, 2009. At the present time this bill has been referred to the House Ways & Means Committee where it awaits further consideration.
