Oneonta 7-on-7 next week
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL
      The high school football season doesn’t kick off for another couple of months and fall practice will not start till next month. However, summer workouts are well underway and teams are also participating in summer camps and other competitions. The Oneonta Redskins are hosting the second annual 7-on-7 Invitational Tournament next week at Gilbreath Stadium.

Hayden 10-and-under softball team wins state
      The Hayden 10-and-under girls softball team traveled to Prattville last week for the Alabama NSA state tournament. The team won the 12-team tournament to take the state title after defeating Mountain Brook 6-0 in the championship game. Hayden not only went undefeated in the state tournament, the girls also finished the all-star schedule with a record of 20-0.      CLEVELAND YOUTH FOOTBALL registration will be Saturday, July 11, and Saturday, July 18, at the Cleveland Town Park from 9 a.m. until 12 noon each day.
