Dickey -Whitley

Adam Whitley - Breane Dickey Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Dickey of Cleveland announce the engagement of their daughter, Breane Marshell Dickey, to Charles Adam Whitley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whitley of Hoover.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carol Parrett Wilson, the late Donald Wilson, Harvey Dickey, and the late Nellie Ruth Rice Dickey, all of Pinson. A 2009 graduate of the Way Home Christian School, she will pursue a degree in dentistry at Jefferson State Community College and the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Hoyt Milton and Helen Reese Ethridge of Dothan and Bob Whitley and Alice Rickerson of Hoover. A 2006 graduate of Auburn University where he earned a degree in entrepreneurship and family business, he will begin post-graduate studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary School at its extension center in Birmingham.

The couple will exchange vows Aug. 1, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Cleveland. After a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Trussville.
