Oneonta honored its former mayor by naming its newest city structure the Danny B. Hicks Municipal Complex. Hicks, a councilor for four years and mayor for 16, opted not to seek reelection in 2008. Locust Fork reservoir apparently ruled out

The Birmingham Water Works Board unanimously approved last Thursday a $329 million plan that would provide adequate water to serve its customers in the Birmingham metro area until 2075.
