FRED ALLCORN, 85, of Oneonta, died Feb. 1, 2009, at Golden Living Center. Born in Jefferson County, he was the son of the late Joseph Jefferson and Hulda Price Allcorn. He retired as a captain after 25 years' service with the Blount County Sheriff's Department and was the first lifetime member of J.C. Carr Memorial Lodge Fraternal Order of Police. More...
